This is a reconstructed reader record. It is independently written and is not the publisher, editorial office or current institutional journal. English source titles are retained; the Bahasa Melayu explanation is newly written.
Start with a year or a question
The English journal began with Volume 1, Issue 1 in December 2009. This hub selects five older issue targets: June/December 2010, December 2011, December 2012 and June 2013. Their labels come from original issue/index pages or clearly delimited article records. It does not fill missing issues with guesses.
The publication continued under the new title International Journal of Islamic Finance and Sustainable Development in September 2024. Use the publisher-listed successor site for the present publication, and the proposed About record for identity, identifiers and publication history. The publisher also lists a separate Arabic journal; this catalogue is for the historical English publication.

- 1Money and financing
2010 2(1): Malaysian microfinance article.
2012 4(2): home-financing topics.
2013 5(1): commodity murabahah article. - 2Rights and rules
2010 2(2): letter of credit.
2011 3(2): court decisions and screening.
2012 4(2): dispute-resolution article. - 3Ownership and trust
2011 3(2): sukuk categorisation and gold dinar debate.
2012 4(1): affinity-fraud record, outside the five targets.
Text alternative: The hub offers financing, rights/rules and ownership/trust reading trails. Each trail names a dated issue or article record. The separate fraud record is 4(1), not December 2012 4(2). June 2013 has one verified commodity murabahah article, not a complete contents list.

Volume 2, Issue 1 · June 2010
English publication
176 pages in the original English index.
Microcredit and Malaysian Islamic microfinance: Norma Md Saad and Jarita Duasa, pp. 113–130. This is one article record, not an issue-wide conclusion.
Volume 2, Issue 2 · December 2010
English publication
190 pages in the original English index.
Issue topics include letters of credit, nomination and hibah, and liquidity management. The linked article on Islamic letters of credit is by Ahmad Azam Othman, Rosmawani Che Hashim and Akhtarzaitie Abdul Aziz, pp. 37–66.
Volume 3, Issue 2 · December 2011
English publication
176 pages; archive lists four academic articles, one practitioner article and five research notes.

Volume 4, Issue 2 · December 2012
English publication
208 pages; archive lists four academic articles, one practitioner article and five research notes.
Home financing, interest-based debt, financial crisis, stock market and receivables-based sukuk. The linked dispute-resolution record is by Umar Aimhanosi Oseni and Abu Umar Faruq Ahmad, pp. 159–165.
Volume 5, Issue 1 · June 2013
English publication
Whole-issue extent not recovered; one original article is available externally.
One verified article: commodity murabahah platform comparison, by Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, M. Mahbubi Ali and Yulizar D. Sandrego, pp. 191–198. Printed running headers establish 5(1), 2013; the original archive title gives June 2013. The whole issue’s contents and total extent remain unrecovered.
The external links above lead to source records or archived pages. For the June 2013 Tazkia PDF, the original article’s identity and printed pages were inspected. The other repository records were inspected at metadata/abstract level; a listed PDF is not proof this hub read it. No PDF is hosted locally.
How to read and cite an entry
Start with the authors and article title, then keep the journal’s original title, year, volume, issue and page range. A repository deposit date tells you when a copy was added, not when the research was published. The illustrated 2012 article below was deposited on 17 June 2013. It belongs to 4(2); it is not a 2013 journal issue.
The title and abstract of Blazing the trail describe Malaysia’s dispute-resolution framework as discussed in 2012. Here they establish the record’s identity and subject, not a complete account of its arguments or the present complaint process. Use the full article for an attributed finding and current originals for today’s procedures.

Text alternative: Oseni and Ahmad authored the 2012 English article in ISRA International Journal of Islamic Finance 4(2), 159–165. IIUM deposited it on 17 June 2013. This hub inspected metadata and abstract, while the repository lists a published-version PDF.

Other useful research trails
Ponzi operandi: Affinity fraud risk for shari’ah-compliant investment funds is a verified 2012 Volume 4, Issue 1 record by Mahmood Nathie, Jacqueline Drew and Michael Drew. It is outside the five selected issues. Its abstract discusses fraud exploiting community trust; the inspected record has no visible full-text file. Do not move it to December 2012 4(2) or treat it as a current product investigation.
New reading example: if an offer uses a religious label or trusted community connection, a historical research trail can suggest questions to investigate, but it cannot establish that a present provider is legitimate, that funds are protected or that a return is guaranteed. Check the actual issuer and offer documents. This educational reading path is available to Muslim and non-Muslim readers alike.

Access, costs and gaps
The September 2024 editorial describes free access to past issues and points to the publisher’s former-title archive, its early-volume archive page and the Emerald archive. Those are source-provided destinations; their full live bodies were not readable during this check. If an article is unavailable, search its exact title or DOI in the publisher’s site or a university library catalogue.
The 2012 archived index advertised printed issues at RM 45 / US$35. This is a historical price, not a current purchase offer. Current subscriptions, print availability, author charges, permissions and download conditions were not verified. Reading access and author publication charges are different questions.
Two planned source links proved unreliable for issue reconstruction: IIUM 26706 says 2012 4(1) although its outbound URL points to December 2011; IIUM 48420 is an Arabic-title 2015 in-press record. They are excluded as issue-content evidence. The June 2013 archived page is title-only, but a separately recovered institutional article copy confirms Issue 1. Its complete issue contents remain unavailable. The December 2011 archive also has a mixed abstract, so this hub does not attribute findings from that text.
Move from research to a practical question
- What is Islamic finance? — proposed guide: begin with everyday money decisions.
- Islamic-finance glossary — proposed guide: identify contract terms before reading technical papers.
- Who checks Shariah compliance? — proposed guide: understand which body makes which decision.
- Sukuk for beginners — proposed guide: ask about ownership, cash flows and issuer obligations.
- INCEIF publications page (external): verified institutional starting point for the current English successor and Arabic journal.
Reader checklist: distinguish article from whole issue; check language and original title; confirm year/issue before quoting; read the full text before attributing detailed findings; check study date, country and assumptions; and reopen current official/provider documents before a money decision. This catalogue does not give a new fatwa or establish present legal rights.
