Updated Statement by the International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) on the COVID-19 Situation
Kuala Lumpur – On 23 April 2020, the Malaysian Prime Minister announced the further extension of the Movement Control Order (MCO) due to the #COVID19 outbreak. In light of this, the office premises of The International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) will remain closed until 12 May 2020. This is part of the social distancing measures taken to prevent further spread of the virus and keep our people safe.
ISRA is concerned over the #COVID19 outbreak and therefore are continuing to take all the necessary measures and precautions to ensure the health and safety of all its employees and stakeholders as outlined previously. Since the initial MCO was announced, ISRA have moved our key operations online and will continue to operate virtually with minimal disruption and shall adapt its approach and resources as required.
We would like to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to our partners, customers and stakeholders for their continuous support in these challenging times.
